The Spectacular Fjords Challenge
Boarding CatZero on the evening of 13th June 2013, The Fjord Challenge is set to depart Hull Marina on a 10-day adventure voyage to Norway over the Summer Solstice, returning back into Hull on Sunday 23rd June.
The trip will combine a demanding sea voyage across 500 miles of the North Sea, followed by the chance to take in Norway's impressive coastline and fjords, best viewed from the water, before sailing back to Hull.
This will be an amazing experience, enabling crew members to sail up Norway's spectacular fjords and discover beautiful places on this stretch of coast that is only accessible by boat. There will also be the opportunity to build in additional adventure experiences during the stay in Norway such as treks, fishing etc.
As well as the physical and mental challenge of crewing a Challenge 72 yacht in the North Sea, there is also the fund-raising challenge to make a minimum donation of £1,950 to take part.
