A pioneering aspect of the programme is the significant engagement of local organisations from the private and public sectors to provide familiarisation visits, work placements, mentoring, volunteers and benefits in kind, to support the young people with a meaningful and stimulating experience.

Jim Dick, chair of CAT.ZERO said: “To date 33 local organisations have now agreed to provide valuable support in this way, because they recognise how important it is to help these young people and to make a positive impact on the social regeneration of the city.”
