Rolex Fastnet 2013
We invite you to join us for the 2013 Rolex Fastnet campaign.
Taking place every other year, The Rolex Fastnet Race is the highlight of the sailing calendar - a true classic. The 608 mile race is a test for the skipper and their crew, earning itself a reputation as one of the most demanding offshore races. Crew will arrive on board on Thursday 8th August 2013 at Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth, before a training day on Friday, which will end up by berthing in Cowes Yacht Haven in the evening to take in the spectacle of the fireworks at the end of Cowes Week. Saturday will be used to make final preparations on board and discuss race tactics.
The Rolex Fastnet 2013 then starts on Sunday 11th August 2013. CatZero's Package includes: Two training weekends, ISAF Offshore Safety course and RYA Sea Survival course, all meals on board, use of wet weather gear and safety equipment, and CatZero polo shirt. A minimum donation of £2,950 will secure your place with CatZero on the Rolex Fastnet 2013, and all profits will be used in our innovative youth development programmes.
