CatZero CatZero
Go the distance with the Dutch Dash!

Boarding CatZero on the evening of Thursday 25th July 2013, you can join an action-packed weekend adventure from Hull to Amsterdam, and back, sailing under the direction of skipper Danny Watson, who has twice taken amateur crews around the globe in the famous Clipper race.

The Dutch Dash will depart from Hull on Friday and arrive in Ijmuiden on Saturday, having sprinted across 200 miles of the North Sea.

It is then only a short trip to the beautiful and vibrant city of Amsterdam for the afternoon and evening. Following a hearty breakfast on Sunday morning, the boat will be prepared for departure in the afternoon to return to Hull on Monday 29th July.

As well as the challenge of crewing a Challenge 72 yacht in the North Sea, there is also the fund-raising challenge to make a minimum donation of £600 to take part. We encourage people to take part in one of our sponsored events, or to do their own to raise funds for the charity.

Challenge yourself and help change young people’s lives!

“The crew were fantastic and gave lots of time to us all, explaining all of the many questions we all had about sailing and just generally providing a really enjoyable experience on a great yacht. I would definitely recommend this to anyone to try, as this really was a great way to spend a weekend” (Gary Helder, Kcom, after visiting Den Helder on the “Dutch Dash”)
